I was blown away by some of your research for Minecraft. I could not have done as good a job as some of you did and once we have spent some time looking at the essays and practice a few times pieces I feel like you have everything you need to do well in the exam.
With that in mind, I'd like to do the same for Public Service Broadcasting, with a focus on The Radio 1 Breakfast show.
In all cases, you will need to refer closely to the Radio 1 Breakfast show in your answer.
QUESTIONS: If possible, reference the theorists from Media Ownership.
1: How has public service broadcasting changed over time? Refer to:
The way that social and cultural circumstances affect audiences, as well as production, distribution, technology.
2: To what extent does Media Ownership affect public service broadcasting? Refer to:
BBC remit/charter, tension independent vs public broadcasting, as well as regulation, distribution and consumption.
3: How do popular music programmes target, reach and maintain a variety of audiences? Refer to:
Historical changes to marketing and distribution, BBC remit/charter.
4: How do public service radio shows use audience data to influence their content? Refer to:
Political, social, cultural and economic contexts.
5: How significant is the role of regulation in public service broadcasting? Refer to:

AS YOU PREPARE, REMEMBER:
Your presentations / essays need to contain thoughtful and thorough analysis of the question.
You need to use specific and detailed information (keep a record of all research).
If you learn a new piece of terminology, you will need a slide to explain the meaning.
NB: YOU HAVE NEXT WEEK AND THE FIRST WEEK BACK AFTER HALF TERM TO PREPARE YOUR PRESENTATIONS.
YOU WILL BE PRESENTING FROM MONDAY OF THE SECOND WEEK OF TERM.
